操作定義
The number of suicide of population aged 60 and over per 100,000 population aged 60 and over, based on mid-year estimate of population. They exclude injury undetermined whether accidentally or purposely inflicted.

All figures are collected from Judiciary since 1981.
Figures for 1981 and 1986 are obtained from Porf. Daniel Shek who got data from the Census and Statistics Department on suicide death.
Figures for 1991, 1996-1998, are provided by Mr. Chan Hop-yan of Judiciary (letter) dated 15 Nov 1999.
Figures for 2001 & 2002 are provided by Mr. Kenneth Liu (fax) dated 19 May 2003.
Figures for 2003 onwards are collected from Coroners' Report on Judiciary Website (respective years).
