Operational Definitions
The number of female post-secondary school enrolment as percentage of that of male.

Figures are collected from the Education Bureau.
(i) Figures include all students studying full-time locally accredited post-secondary programmes in sub-degree, bachelor degree or above levels in UGC-funded universities (including their extension arms) or other colleges/institutions.
(ii) Figures refer to total student enrolment in full-time locally accredited UGC-funded, publicly funded and self-financing post-secondary programmes.
(iii) Students studying non-local courses registered under the Non-local Higher and Professional Education (Regulation) Ordinance (Cap.493) are excluded.
